This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.

Hours are published for 5 days a week. The most common schedule is 8 am–2 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday, Tuesday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (309) 431-7801. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is ardorbp.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Peoria is in Illinois, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Peoria follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Ardor is a great spot if you’re looking for elevated food with creative presentation. Every dish looked beautiful coming out of the kitchen, and the desserts were especially impressive. The standout for me was the polenta. It was rich, creamy, and easily my favorite thing we ordered. The roasted chicken was cooked perfectly, and both desserts were excellent. My only minor complaint is that they’re served with tablespoons instead of teaspoons, which made them feel a little less refined than they deserved. The bread was good, but the real highlight was the incredibly silky butter. The pizza had an outstanding crust with a great char and chew, but overall it was probably the one dish I’d skip next time in favor of trying something else on the menu. Overall, Ardor delivers a unique dining experience with excellent execution, beautiful plating, and several memorable dishes. Definitely worth a visit, and I’m already looking forward to going back to explore more of the menu.

We went here for the first time for dinner on a friday night. They sat us upstairs which was amazing! Our waitress was great and let us know we had a few mins to order from the happy hour menu so we got our order in quick! We got some sour dough to start which was really great and we got two pizzas that came out in a timely matter for it being busy. The pizza was delicious. We will absolutely be back to try new things!

It's rare to find such a good bakery, the pastries are delicious and so are the focaccia sandwiches. The coffee also hits the spot, your staff are lovely & always have the time for a little chat. It's a good job I don't live in Peoria but I will always visit when I'm in town πŸ˜‹. Would you ever offer baguette sandwiches?

Ardor is absolutely incredible! The pastries were delicious, scrumptious, and honestly heavenly. We tried the cardamom pastry, cookies and cream pastry, and the cheese danish, and every single one was outstanding. I highly recommend all three. One thing I didn't realize before visiting is that there are both front and back entrances. The front entrance is perfect if you're just looking to grab something quickly and go, while the back entrance leads to the seating area for those who want to stay and enjoy their treats. Everything tasted fresh and expertly made. This bakery is definitely worth a visit! If I'm ever back in this area I will be sure to try more of their amazing pastries!

Wow! What a great place! Stumbled upon it by accident & so glad I know this place exists now I will be back! Food was phenomenal! The trout sandwich was amazing, appetizer plate of meat & cheese spreads was delicious. Can’t wait to try the pastries I purchased for breakfast tomorrow. The breads were all very dark which isn’t my preference but they were still good. A few of the croissants in the case actually looked burnt but I did not try one, so to each their own. There was a good deal on the menu with soup, sandwich & drink for $33 which seemed pretty reasonable, glad I tried it. No chips or fries to go with the sandwiches but the soup went well. It was really good tomato soup possible the best I may have ever had. Server was a little absent but maybe she was just busy, took a minute to get our checks. But overall a great experience & can’t wait to go back & try more off their menu.
